Lighthouse Point Luxury Homes, located in the city of Lighthouse Point is a very desirable northeastern city in Broward county and is a high demand location to live in. Located east of US1 and west of the Intracoastal Waterway, many of the homes within the town are waterfront with the most expensive having unrestricted deep water access. Access to the ocean is through the Hillsboro inlet just to the south via the Intracoastal Waterway. The City of Lighthouse Point came into being in June 1957, when Lighthouse Point received its state charter and officially becoming a City. Cap’s Place, Florida’s oldest restaurant, is located in the city and has its roots as a 1920’s casino and rum-running speakeasy. The restaurant charming history is intriguing and its food is excellent — a must do. Caps sits on an island off Lighthouse Point and can only be reached by Cap’s motor launch. Caps Place was officially listed in the Florida National Register of Historic Places and in 1991 the City designated it as an historic structure.
Shopping, dining and entertainment options abound. Just a few minutes to the north is the city of Boca Raton with its upscale shopping and dining in Mizner Park and Florida Atlantic University.
